Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion.
Trauma, inflammatory responses, and/or surgical procedures create Myofascial restrictions that can produce tensile pressures of approximately 2,000 pounds per square inch on pain sensitive structures that do not show up in many of the standard tests (x-rays, myelograms, CAT scans, electromyography, etc.)
This comprehensive program of soft-tissue manipulation balances the body’s central nervous system with the musculoskeletal system. Based on neurological laws that explain how the central nervous system initiates and maintains pain, the goal is to help relieve the pain and dysfunction by understanding and alleviating the underlying cause. Neuromuscular therapy can help individuals who experience distortion and biomechanical dysfunction, which is often a symptom of a deeper problem.
pre-and post natal
Performed by a trained perinatal specialist, many methods of massage and somatic therapies are both effective and safe prenatally and during labor and postpartum periods of women’s pregnancies. Prenatally, specific techniques can reduce pregnancy discomforts and concerns and enhance the physiological and emotional well-being of both mother and fetus.

Sports massage is designed to enhance athletic performance and recovery. There are three contexts in which sports massage can be useful to an athlete: pre-event, post-event, and injury treatment. Pre-event massage is delivered at the performance site, usually with the athlete fully clothed. Fast-paced and stimulating, it helps to establish blood flow and to warm up muscles. During the massage, the athlete generally focuses on visualizing the upcoming event
Absolutely fantastic. I tend to get some unusual knots being a musician, and Erika perfectly pinpointed these spots, worked them out, and gave a wonderful invigorating full body massage. I have felt great ever since, and that was over a week ago!
Erika gave me a fantastic, best ever, massage. After four days of skiing, which, I infrequently do, my body needed some maintenance. She is very thorough and seemed to find every knot. I called and asked for an early appointment and she accommodated me quite nicely.
I highly recommend her services to ease fatigued muscles from exertion on the mountain be it skiing or mountain biking or whatever your choice of outdoor adventure. My only regret is that I was a visitor to Breckenridge so it is unlikely that I can get a massage from her again.
